Our story

We appreciate honey in all its forms: plain, in cooking, or in pastries and mead.

Naturally, we want to develop a beekeeping business using the Norman dialect term for bees, Môques à mié, associated with the name of the hamlet of Port Jumièges. This thousand-year-old port of the Jumièges Abbey was located on this left bank. Wood was loaded from the royal timber yard, ships were repaired, and the first fishermen embarked there for Newfoundland...

A family passion...

My name is David and I live in Normandy, in the heart of the Boucles de la Seine Normande Regional Natural Park, between the Brotonne State Forest, the Seine, and the Heurteauville Peat Bog Sensitive Natural Area. We have always cultivated a large vegetable garden and an orchard. Traditionally, for several generations, we have sold our surplus natural production at the gate along the fruit route, to the delight of passing tourists.

Who am I?
